GCCIR Matchmaking Symposium in Barcelona
On November 19th, 2018 the German-Canadian Centre for Innovation and Research (GCCIR) will hold a matchmaking symposium in Barcelona as part of the 2018 GCCIR Matchmaking Mission to Europe.
The symposium provides a unique opportunity for Spanish organizations to connect with potential Albertan partners to jointly develop R&D projects eligible to receive funding under the Alberta-Europe Technology Collaboration Fund.
Conference that organizes Innoget together with the innovation and research center of the Alberta region (GCCIR), in Canada. The objective of the session is the realization of a business mission that will involve between 15 and 20 SMEs of the region of Alberta with the aim of generating projects of R&D co-financed with Spanish companies of the ICT sector, geospatial, e-health, among others. Eurecat collaborates and organizes a visit to Eurecat Cerdanyola for the assisting companies.
The 2018 GCCIR Matchmaking Mission to Europe will be visiting Spain, the Czech Republic, Germany and the United Kingdom. The mission will include matchmaking symposia in Barcelona, Prague, Munich, Aachen and Cambridge.
Beyond the matchmaking symposia, the participants also have the option of participating in site visits to research facilities, startup incubators and technology parks, as well as a cultural program which introduces some of the historical, cultural, and culinary highlights of the various regions visited in Europe.
